Body (Round Base)
Round 1: Make a magic ring and work 12 dc inside the ring. Join with a slip stitch to the first dc. You will have 12 stitches.
Round 2: Chain 2 (counts as first dc). Work 2 dc in each stitch around. Join with slip stitch. You will have 24 stitches.
Round 3: Chain 2. Work 1 dc in the next stitch, then 2 dc in the following stitch. Repeat this pattern around. Join with slip stitch. You will have 36 stitches.
Fasten off and weave in ends. This forms the bunny’s round body.

Head
Attach yarn at the top center of the circle.
Row 1: Chain 1. Work 6 sc across the top stitches of the circle to form the base of the head. Turn your work.
Row 2: Chain 1. Work increase in the first stitch, 2 sc in the next two stitches, increase in the next stitch, and 1 sc in the last stitch. Turn.
Row 3: Chain 1. Work 1 sc in each stitch across to shape the top of the head. Do not fasten off yet.
The head should appear slightly rounded and proportionate to the body.
Ears
Chain 7.
Starting in the second chain from the hook, work 1 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 hdc, and 1 sc. Slip stitch at the top of the head to secure.
Repeat the same steps for the second ear, adjusting placement so both ears are evenly spaced.
Fasten off and weave in all loose ends.
Tail
Attach yarn to the lower side of the body.
Chain 3. Work 5 dc into the first chain to create a small puff shape. Slip stitch into the same stitch to secure.
Fasten off and weave in the end.
Eye
Sew a small black bead slightly above the center of the head. If preferred, embroider a French knot using black yarn instead.
Hanging Loop
Attach yarn at the top of the head between the ears. Chain 15–20 stitches, depending on the desired loop length. Slip stitch into the same stitch to secure and fasten off firmly.
Customization Ideas
You can make pastel versions for Easter, use rustic jute yarn for farmhouse décor, or add a tiny bow near one ear for extra charm. Mini versions made with thinner yarn also work beautifully as gift tags or craft fair items.
